A massive controversy has erupted after Biocon Chief Kiran Mazumdar Shaw raked up the issue of Muslim vendors not being allowed by temple authorities in Karnataka to open stalls during festivals. In a tweet where she tagged chief minister Basavaraj Bommai, Shaw said that Karnataka must not allow such communal exclusion. She also appealed, "Please resolve this growing religious divide."
