Former DMK leader VP Duraisamy joined BJP in the presence of state BJP President L Murugan. He had been removed from the post of DMK Deputy General Secretary on Thursday. After joining the BJP, Duraisamy praised PM Modi's leadership and said that he is working for the downtrodden and the poor. He also lauded PM Modi's economic package as revolutionary.
