A Qatar court has accepted India’s appeal against the death penalty to eight Navy veterans in an alleged spy case. The Qatari court will now examine India’s appeal and a date for hearing is expected soon. India had expressed shock on Qatar sentencing the 8 ex-Navy personnel to death last month, and vowed to explore all legal options to bring them back.
