Bengal polls: Congress candidate from Murshidabad's Samsherganj dies of Covid-19

A Congress candidate from West Bengal's Murshidabad district died of Covid-19. Congress candidate Rezaul Haque had tested positive for Covid two days ago. 46-year-old Haque died at a hospital in Kolkata early on Thursday. Haque was Congress' nominee from Samsherganj assembly constituency in Murshidabad. He was initially admitted to a private hospital in Jangipur following breathing trouble. Haque was later referred to a medical facility in Kolkata after his condition deteriorated. Samsherganj goes to polls in the seventh phase of assembly elections on April 26.
