- Amid the Russian forces offensive in Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin has rejected reports of targeting Ukraine's civilian population. Putin has called such information fake and gross propaganda. He also agreed to hold talks with his Ukrainian counterparts and other leaders if his demands are met.
