Arsene Wenger fumes at refereeing in his record 811th match in charge

about the video
Arsene Wenger, who created history by breaking Alex Ferguson’s record of most games as manager of the club in the Premier League, had his occasion marred by a controversial penalty in Arsenal’s 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion. Speaking after the match, Wenger said, “It’s difficult to accept,” Wenger said. “I’m angry because we have seen the same things again and again and I said down there that it used to be hard for the referees to become professional many years ago, we did a good job to allow them to become professional. I see no improvement, and at the end of the day we have two countries in Europe that have professional referees, in Italy and England. Not one English referee will go to the World Cup. But everything is all right, you cannot say a word against it, because they’re untouchable, this is the case and that is the truth as well. And there’s a reason, it’s not only me who judges them (Video credit: Perform).” (Hindustan Times)
