Fresh reporting suggests Iran is drawing a hard line in its talks with the United States, insisting that any initial draft understanding must include access to at least some of its frozen assets from the very first step. According to Tasnim, Tehran has rejected a U.S. preference to delay asset release until a final nuclear agreement and instead wants a mechanism that begins partial unfreezing immediately while setting a path for the rest to be released later.
