Abhinandan Varthaman, who downed Pak F-16, flies sortie with IAF chief

Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman who downed a Pakistan F-16 during aerial combat in February flew a joint sortie with IAF Chief BS Dhanoa. Abhinandan Varthaman, who had been captured by Pakistan and later released, was recently cleared to fly again. The braveheart was also honoured with the Vir Chakra. The IAF officer had become the face of the military confrontation between India and Pakistan in February.
