After top honour & temple visit, PM Modi concludes historic Bahrain visit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi concluded his historic visit to Bahrain on Sunday. He became the first Indian prime minister to visit the nation. He was conferred with Bahrain's top honour, 'The King Hamad Order of the Renaissance'. PM Modi accepted the award 'on behalf of 1.3 billion Indians'. He also held talks on varied issues with the leaders of Bahrain. On the second day of his visit, PM Modi visited a historic temple dedicated to Krishna. He also launched its redevelopment project worth $4.2 million. The Prime Minister then left for France to attend the G7 summit.
