After viral video, BJP MLA denies threatening daughter for marrying a Dalit

BJP MLA Rajesh Mishra on Thursday clarified over his daughter seeking protection after marrying a Dalit man. He said that his daughter is an adult and has a right to take decisions. Sakshi Mishra, 23, had earlier uploaded videos on social media announcing her wedding to 29-year-old Ajitesh Kumar. In the video, she had alleged that her life was in danger from her father and asked police for security. Rajesh Mishra is an MLA from Bithri Chainpur constituency of Bareilly district.
