Updated on Mar 08, 2020 02:00 am IST
In a big relief for people who protested against the felling of trees at Aarey, CM Uddhav Tahckeray has now ordered that all cases filed against the protesters be withdrawn. This comes after Uddhav had earlier announced a stay on the metro car shed project at Aarey. The newly appointed Chief Minister also said that the cabinet expansion will happen soon. Uddhav Thackeray led Shiv Sena formed the government with support from the NCP & Congress after it parted ways with BJP over power sharing.
