The Congress has made a comeback in the Hindi heartland states of Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh and is leading in Madhya Pradesh as counting of votes for the 2018 assembly elections is still underway. In this episode of HT Conversations, Hindustan Times political editor Vinod Sharma talks about how the Congress' performance in this election can change the electoral landscape in 2019. Sharma says the win in the Hindi heartland may rub off on the Congress' chances in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
