Updated on Mar 04, 2020 02:42 am IST
The 40 day long marathon hearing on the Ayodhya dispute ended on Wednesday. Amid heated scenes, the CJI put an end to arguments from both sides and the verdict is expected in November. Both sides have presented their arguments to press their case for the disputed land in Ayodhya. While Hindu groups claimed the land is the birthplace of Lord Ram, Muslim groups claimed it as their own. The Supreme Court has reserved its verdict even as security has been beefed up in Ayodhya over the impending verdict.
