‘Bangladesh a key pillar of our neighbourhood first policy’: PM Modi

PM Narendra Modi and Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina held a virtual bilateral summit. PM Modi said that Bangladesh is a key pillar of India's 'neighbourhood first' policy and added that strengthening ties with the country has been one of his priorities since he came to power. The two leaders also inaugurated the Bangabandhu-Bapu Digital Exhibition, released a commemorative stamp on Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and inaugurated the Chilahati-Haldibari rail, linking the borders of the two neighbouring countries. The summit is being held a day after Vijay Divas, which marks India's victory over Pakistan in the 1971 war that led to the creation of Bangladesh. Watch the full video for all the details.
