‘Baseless’: Rajnath Singh counters Rahul Gandhi’s charges at HTLS 2018

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday said Congress president Rahul Gandhi's allegation that BJP is taking over institutions is baseless. “He (Rahul Gandhi) should give at least one example of where this has happened. said Singh. Union minister Rajnath Singh was speaking at the 2018 Hindustan Times Leadership Summit in New Delhi on Friday. He further added that the selection of the vice-chancellor of the Universities is on the basis of merit and not recommendations.
