Coronavirus: 3rd case confirmed in Kerala, minister says more possible
Updated on Mar 20, 2020 02:52 pm IST
Third case of Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in India. The latest case is also from the southern state of Kerala. Like the earlier infections, the third person also returned to India from China's Wuhan in January 2020. While the first case was reported from Thrissur, and the second from Alappuzha, the last was reported from Kasaragod. The state health minister said that adequate steps had been taken to contain secondary infection, but given that Coronavirus spreads quickly and even before diagnosis, more cases are likely.
