‘Why can’t govt release Farooq, Mehbooba if situation is normal in J&K?’: D Raja

CPI leader D Raja hit out at Modi government over situation in Jammu and Kashmir. Raja said while government claims normalcy prevails, ground reality is different. Meanwhile, 2G internet on post-paid connections were restored in Jammu. Internet services restored for accessing white-listed sites, including e-banking. J&K official order said Kashmir division will establish additional 400 internet kiosks. On August 5, J&K's special status was revoked and divided into two union territories.
