‘Declare us transgender also’: CM Narayanasamy lashes out at Modi govt

V Narayanaswamy has hit out at the Modi government. He accused the Centre of treating Puducherry as a state for some schemes and as a Union Territories for others. The Chief Minister caused a flutter by saying that the centre may as well declare Puducherry a 'transgender. The CM made the comment while he was inaugurating a national workshop on 'Challenges to India's Fiscal Federalism' organised by the Indian Institute of Social Sciences.
