Ganesh Chaturthi: Devotees come together to bid farewell to Bappa

The 10-day long Ganesh Chaturthi festival concluded on September 12. Devotees came together to bid farewell to Bappa at various immersion points. Zealous Mumbaikars took out procession as Ganpati idol at Lalbaugcha Raja was taken for immersion. Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated every year to mark the birth of Lord Ganesha. According to the Hindu calendar, the festival takes place in the month of Bhadra. This year, Ganesh Chaturthi began on September 2.
