DIFFERENT STROKES I ‘Love watching Deepika Padukone movies’: Conrad Sangma
Updated on Jan 06, 2019 08:14 am IST
In a free-wheeling interview with Hindustan Times' Kumkum Chadha, Meghalaya chief minister Conrad Sangma talks about his life beyond politics. “I love watching Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone's movies. I have seen Sholay 300 times,” he says. If budgets were not a constraint, Conrad Sangma would have signed Deepika Padukone as a brand ambassador to promote tourism in Meghalaya. “But she is a celebrity and we belong to a very small state,” he says. He also says that pressures of office have taken away his me-time. He is in office from “ten to ten” and even when he is at home, he is meeting people. Watch the full interview for more details in Conrad Sangma's most candid interview yet.
