Farmers’ ‘Bharat Bandh’ call gets Opposition support as deadlock continues

The nation-wide strike called by farmer unions on December 8 has received backing from several Opposition parties. Congress, Left, TMC, AAP, TRS and DMK have extended support to the agitation while NCP chief Sharad Pawar has warned the Centre of a pan-India movement if farmers' demands are not met.
