Sedition charge | ‘Ensure speedy trial in fast-track court’: Kanhaiya Kumar

Delhi government granted sanction to prosecute Kanhaiya Kumar in JNU sedition case. Asking for a speedy trial in a fast-track court, Kumar said that he wants the nation to know how a law like Sedition is being misused. Police had filed charge sheet against the former JNUSU president on January 14, 2019. Kumar was accused of raising seditious slogans during a protest on JNU campus.
