‘Don’t want Kashmir to become 2nd Afghanistan’: EU MP Mariani post J&K visit

A delegation of 23 Members of European Parliament (MEPs) visited Jammu and Kashmir. MEP Thierry Mariani said that he doesn't want Kashmir to become '2nd Afghanistan'. The MEP added that the delegation has no intention to interfere in Indian politics. Another MEP Nicolaus Fest advised the Indian government to address 'disbalance'. Fest said that the government should allow Opposition leaders into the Valley.
