Explained: How Apache choppers fit into New India’s offensive doctrine

The Indian Air Force has inducted its first fleet of 8 Apache attack helicopters. This is the second US-built helicopters to join IAF fleet after Chinook helicopters. The Apache attack choppers can track up to 128 targets a minute and prioritise threats.
