Fireplaces to comfort animals in Vadodara zoo
A zoo in Vadodara has made arrangements to keep animals warm and comfortable as the temperature dropped to the lowest in a decade last week. Last Friday, Vadodara recorded the coldest day of the decade when mercury plummeted to 6.5 degrees Celsius. Authorities at Sayaji Baug Zoo have put up a bonfire and green agro-nets to protect animals and birds from the biting cold. Special food is also being provided to the animals to regulate their normal body temperature.
