First direct flight between Varanasi and Kathmandu flagged off

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath flagged off air services between Varanasi and Kathmandu on 29th June. This is the first direct flight between Varanasi and Kathmandu. The flight that will start from Varanasi at 5:50 pm will land at 7:10 pm in Kathmandu. The 47-seater Buddha Airlines plane will fly between Varanasi and Kathmandu twice a week. The service will help the devotees to commute easily between the two leading Shaivaite religious centres- Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi and Pashupati Nath in Nepal.
