Just days after doctors across India held protests demanding better safety, fracas was witnessed in Delhi's Maharishi Valmiki Hospital. According to reports, the cause was a case of alleged rape of a 4-year old in the national capital's Bawana area. Police later said that the situation at the hospital had normalised. Recently, assault of a junior doctor in a hospital in Kolkata allegedly by relatives of a patient who had died, had sparked nationwide protests with doctors going on strike in many hospitals.
