Ganesh Chaturthi | Chennai students create portrait, spread message to save Amazon

Preparations are in full swing to welcome Ganpati ahead of Ganesh Chaturthi. Sale of idols have picked pace in the recent weeks ahead of the festival. In Chennai, students from Everwin Vidhyashram School formed Lord Ganesha's gigantic image. On an area of around 18,000 square feet, they used 5500 light lamps to decorate it. Below the image, the students wrote: 'Save Amazon, Save Earth'.
