Coronavirus: 8th Indian infected in Japan; more evacuations from China soon

Ministry of External Affairs confirmed 8th Indian tested positive for coronavirus onboard Japan's cruise ship. MEA spokesperson Raveesh Kumar updated on the situation and said the process of disembarkation has started as quarantine has ended on the cruise ship in Japan. Speaking in Delhi on Thursday, Raveesh said the Indians affected with virus are being treated at a local hospital. Raveesh added that India will be sending medical help to China and more Indians will be evacuated from China.
