HM Shah, Defence Minister, Bihar & Kerala CMs celebrate Independence Day

Independence Day celebrations were held across the nation with senior government functionaries participating. In New Delhi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah hoisted the tricolour and distributed sweets at his residence. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also unfurled the flag at his house. In Jammu and Kashmir, Independence Day festivities were organised at Srinagar's Sher-i-Kashmir stadium. Governor Satyapal Malik presided over the ceremony. In Kerala's Thiruvananthapuram, CM Pinarayi Vijayan and in Patna, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar also hoisted the flag.
