IAF releases video of Jaguar dropping practice bombs, says pilot saved lives

The Indian Air Force has released a video of a Jaguar aircraft dropping practice bombs, saying the pilot saved civilian lives. In the video, the fighter jet can be seen suffering a bird hit soon after take off. The bird hit caused one of its engines to fail. The quick-witted pilot dropped the two additional fuel drop tanks and practice bombs that the jet had been carrying and safely landed the aircraft. The IAF credited him for saving civilian lives as well as protecting a war-waging asset.
