India & Russia against external interference in internal issues: PM Modi

PM Narendra Modi, who is on a 2 day visit to Russia, sent a strong message to Pakistan over its bid to internationalise the Kashmir issue. Speaking after talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, PM Modi said that both Russia and India are against any external interference in any other country's internal matters. PM also said that India wants a stable and prosperous Afghanistan. The two leaders also discussed ways to bolster cooperation in trade and investment, oil and gas, nuclear energy and defence. Prime Minister Modi said a proposal had been made to have a full-fledged maritime route between Chennai and Vladivostok.
