Indian Railways hikes fares: Watch passengers’ reactions

Travellers reacted to the government's decision to increase railway fares. Prices of rail tickets have been increased by up to Rs 4 paisa per kilometre with effect from January 1, 2020. Cost of tickets for ordinary non-AC trains has gone up by 1 paisa per km. Fare of mail and express trains (non-AC coach) has been hiked by 2 paisa per kilometre. AC class travel is costlier by 4 paisa per kilometre. Passengers gave mixed reactions to the fare hike. Watch the full video for more.
