‘Introspect’: PM Modi’s message to anti-CAA protesters in Uttar Pradesh

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday spoke on violence in Uttar Pradesh during anti-Citizenship Amendment Act protests. Speaking at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University in Lucknow, PM Modi urged people to maintain peace in the state. “People involved in violence should introspect on what they did,” PM Modi said. “I request and tell these protesters that if good roads, facilities, and a clean sewerage system is a citizen's right, maintaining them correctly is their responsibility as well,” PM Modi added.
