‘Jaish commander Sajad Dar killed in joint operation’: North Kashmir DIG

22 Rashtriya Rifles, Sopore Police and CRPF in a joint operation eliminated Jaish-e-Mohammed commander. JeM commander Sajad Dar was neutralised in Gulabad area under Sopore Police Station Limits. DIG, North Kashmir Range, Suleman Choudhary said, “We had specific information about militants hiding in Gulabad area under Sopore police station limits.” He added, “A joint cordon and search operation was launched by 22 Rashtriya Rifles, Sopore Police and CRPF on April 8. The joint operation comes amid nationwide lockdown to stop the spread of COVID-19.
