Jamia students detained during protest against Dr Kafeel Khan’s arrest

Students of Jamia Millia Islamia were detained by Delhi Police as they demanded the release of Dr. Kafeel Khan outside Uttar Pradesh Bhawan. The protest was called by Jamia Coordination Committee (JCC) where students organised a march to UP Bhawan. Police detained several students. Dr. Khan was arrested earlier for delivering a provocative speech at Aligarh Muslim University in December last year. Dr Khan was arrested from Mumbai airport by UP Special Task Force. Khan was also charged under the National Security Act (NSA).
