Updated on Mar 14, 2020 01:47 pm IST
President of the Jawaharlal Nehru University Students' Union, Aishe Ghosh, addressed the media on Monday. A day earlier, she had been the victim of a physical attack inside the campus of the varsity. A horde of masked people had wreaked havoc in the campus, attacking students and teachers alike. Ghosh demanded the removal of the current vice-chancellor of JNU, while blaming BJP's student wing, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, and 'RSS-affiliated professors' for the assault.
