Houses, roads washed away as incessant rainfall wreaks havoc in Karnataka

Heavy rainfall has wreaked havoc in the state of Karnataka. Several houses, roads and bridges have been damaged due to the heavy rainfall. The Narayanpur Chaya Bhagavathi Temple in Yadgiri and the Savadatti Yellamma Temple in Belagavi were flooded after heavy rainfall. The situation looks grim as the MET department has predicted more rainfall in the state in the coming days.
