‘Politically motivated witch-hunt’: Karti Chidambaram on father’s arrest

Congress MP Karti Chidambaram slammed CBI for arresting his father former finance minister P Chidambaram. Karti alleged a 'politically motivated witch-hunt' against his father. He claimed that the aim of the arrest was 'theatrics, voyeurism for pleasure of a few'. P Chidambaram was arrested on August 21 by CBI officers. He is under the scanner in the INX Media case. The ex-FM was arrested after Delhi High Court rejected his anticipatory bail plea.
