Landslides kill 20 in Assam’s Barak Valley as state grapples with floods

At least 20 people died in three landslides in different districts of Assam. Six people died and 10 suffered injuries in landslide in Assam's Karimganj. Landslides in Hailakandi and Cachar claimed 14 lives. Parts of Assam have been receiving heavy rainfall for the past few days. The northeast state is also grappling with floods. At least nine people have died in the deluge and lakhs have been affected.
