Maharashtra Assembly: BJP protests against Rahul Gandhi with Savarkar posters

Bharatiya Janata Party legislators protested inside the Maharashtra Assembly on Monday. They brandished posters featuring Vinayak Savarkar to protest against Indian National Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. A few days earlier, Gandhi had mocked the Hindutva icon. Commenting on BJP's demand for his apology, the Congress leader had said that his surname is Gandhi, not Savarkar, and so he won't apologise for stating the truth.
