Maharashtra: Farmers stage protests in Mumbai against crop loss

Farmers from Maharashtra staged a protest in Mumbai on Thursday. The protest was staged by the farmers against the loss of crops due to unseasonal rain in Maharashtra. The farmers were seen marching, chanting slogans in Mumbai. Farmers were marching towards Raj Bhavan and were later detained by the police. The protest comes at a time when political parties failed to form government in Maharashtra and President's rule was imposed in the state.
