Bengaluru traffic police deploy life-size mannequins to regulate traffic

Bengaluru traffic police's came up with a unique idea to curb traffic violations. The police deployed life-size mannequins dressed as cops at important junctions. Officials have been receiving positive response to the initiative. Dr BR Ravikanthe Gowda, Joint CP (Traffic), Bengaluru, said that the mannequin project will help discipline violators who break law when there are no cops around.
