‘Mass surveillance against Indians’: Congress slams Modi govt

Congress has launched a scathing attack on the Modi government over reports claiming that the Centre has been seeking call records of all mobile subscribers across several pockets of the country for specific days over the past few months. Congress leader Manish Tewari said this is a violation of the Supreme Court order on privacy being a fundamental right of every Indian citizen. He added that the Modi government on turning India into an Orwellian state and has ordered mass surveillance on citizens on India. Watch the video for more details.
