Meet India’s first ‘one man band’

Mumbai is home to countless musicians. Some are guitarists, others play the Ukelele. Many play drums and there are others who play the little known Kazoo. Meet Gladson, who has been identified as India's first and Mumbai's only 'one-man band'. In all he can play over 45 musical instruments. Twenty-four year old Peter Gladson can play all of them. In fact he can play 13 instruments at the same time. He was an avid sportsman, but was diagnosed with Tuberculosis, the treatment for which left him with two holes in his lungs. For a year, he was bed-ridden and asked not to indulge in strenuous physical activities. Not to be cowed down, he channeled his energies towards his first passion - music.
