Haryana Health Minister, Anil Vij stirred a controversy after he said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a bigger 'brand name' than Mahatma Gandhi. The minister's remarks came today following the row surrounding the publication of PM Modi's photo on the 2017 wall calendar and table diary published by the Khadi Village Industries Commission (KVIC). Vij further stated that PM Modi will replace the Father of the Nation on Indian currency notes in future. The cover photo on the calendar and the diary shows the Prime Minister weaving fabric on a charkha in place of Mahatma Gandhi.
