PM Modi in Solapur: Hope Rajya Sabha passes historic quota bill

Addressing a public rally in Solapur, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that Lok Sabha passed an important bill regarding 10% quota for poors across the general category. Modi hopes that the bill will be passed in Rajya Sabha today. PM Modi was speaking at the launch of the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) poll campaign in Maharashtra, with the inauguration of several infrastructure projects in Solapur, 190km south of Beed. He will also lay the foundation stone for 30,000 houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and the four-lane section of the Solapur-Tuljapur-Osmanabad highway.
