‘No food, water even after 24 hours’: Cyclone Fani aftermath

Cyclone Fani left trails of devastation in India's Odisha. At least 16 people died and the number is expected to rise, the relief and rescue team said. Restoration of electricity and water supply is the main focus of the government. Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik said his government is working hard to help people. Puri, among other districts, was severely affected by the storm. The district remained without power, water even after 24 hours of the cyclone. People said there is no food, water or relief provided to them. Fani was possibly as strong as 1999 super cyclone, the meteorological center of Puri said. Relief and restoration work is underway in Odisha.
