‘Nothing seditious about letter to PM Modi on lynchings’: Shyam Benegal

Filmmaker Shyam Benegal has said that there is nothing seditious about the letter they had written to Prime Minister Modi about mob lynchings in the country. He said that if any action is taken against them then it would be in violation of the constitution. An FIR has been filed against 49 celebrities who had written to PM Modi about the spate of lynchings in the country. Several political parties have also slammed the FIR against the celebrities.
