Pak reactivated Balakot camp which IAF destroyed post-Pulwama: Army chief

Updated on Sept 23, 2019 11:56 pm IST

Chief of Army Staff, General Bipin Rawat, revealed that Pakistan reactivated a terror camp in Balakot. The camp had been destroyed in February 2019, in an air strike by the Indian Air Force. The operation, which was carried out in the aftermath of the Pulwama terror attack, had been preventive in nature. On being asked whether another air strike was in the offing, General Rawat said that the enemy must be kept guessing. He also said that more troops had been deployed in Jammu and Kashmir to prevent infiltration of terrorists from Pakistan.
